1st Bail Bonds Is Moving!

1st Bail Bonds is moving our offices from 1920 E 6th St in Tulsa to 1408 S Denver Ave in Tulsa.  Our new office is just up the street from the QuikTrip at 15th and Denver in the Professional Center (a beautiful three-story gray brick building) – with plenty of free parking and a discreet entrance to help provide privacy during the bail bonding process.

Our change of address will take place on July 15th, 2011 and we will be ready to serve all of your bail bond needs at our new location.

Crash Suspect’s Bail Not Reduced

On Friday the 12th of February, a Tulsa County judge declined to increase the bail for a suspect who is accused of being under the influence of marijuana when he crashed his Hummer into another car, killing three people inside.  The jury trial for Steven Wade Jameson is set for the 13th of June, 2011 in this case.  Currently, Jameson is free on a $150,950 bond. Tulsa World: Eufaula Mayor Jailed In Drunken Driving Case While On Probation

EUFAULA – For the second time in as many months, Eufaula’s mayor has been jailed on suspicion of drinking alcohol in violation of terms of his probation.

Robert Dean Smith, 49, is being held without bail in the McIntosh County Jail.
He was arrested Wednesday morning by Eufaula police after complaints were received that he was driving erratically and had been drinking at a bar, Assistant District Attorney Crieg Rittenhouse said.

Smith was free on bond in a pending misdemeanor drunken driving case and on felony charges of embezzlement by public officer.

Tulsa World: 15-year term given man once set free by DNA

A man who was released from prison years ago after DNA evidence raised questions about his murder conviction was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years in prison for drug crimes.

Albert Wesley Brown, 48, pleaded guilty in Tulsa County District Court to two felonies – manufacturing methamphetamine and possessing a controlled drug. He also pleaded guilty Tuesday to possessing drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Continue reading →
